The Woman’s Club of Rialto, as a member of the GFWC California Federation of Women’s Clubs, is part of an international community service organization which provides education, training and interaction opportunities for volunteers who are committed to community improvement and individual growth to enrich the quality of life throughout California and the world.
Dedication to Our Service…
We support the local youths, seniors, families, our fire and police departments, Rialto Unified School District (RUSD) and the City of Rialto.
- Volunteer time and donations of food and money to Rialto Child Assistance;
- American Cancer Society (Rialto’s Relay for Life);
- Penny Pines Fundraiser;
- Participate in the “Reading Buddies Program;”
- Friends of the Rialto Police K-9s;
- State of the Women’s Conference
- National Night Out and Family Festival
- Run Whatcha Brung Annual Car Show
- Participate in RUSD’s Puttin’ on the Ritz Student Fine Arts Gala Fundraiser;
- Encourage high school music groups to perform at WCR monthly meetings;
- Support CFWC and San Bernardino District with attendance at conferences and conventions;
- Support Rialto’s youth holiday activities;
- Provide scholarships, such as the Hugh O’Brien Youth (HOBY) Leadership Program and various scholarships to graduating seniors from each of the four RUSD high schools.
